There was little shuffling in the latest coaches softball rankings as teams continue to jockey for position for the upcoming region playoffs. All five No. 1 teams held their positions.

Brookwood leads Class AAAAA again as the top four teams remained the same from last week. Harrison, Mill Crek and Collins Hill fall in behind the Broncos. The only newcomer to the state’s largest classification was Hillgrove taking the No. 7 spot.

Union Grove remained No. 1 in Class AAAA, while Whitewater moved up from third to second and Greenbrier jumped from No. 3 to No. 5.

In Class AAA, Walnut Grove, Oconee County and West Laurens make up the top three again this week. The only newcomer was LaGrange, which cracked the top 10 at No. 9.

Berrien kept its place atop the Class AA poll, with Greater Atlanta Christian, Calhoun and Bleckley County rounding out the top four again.

Class A had the biggest shakeup, even with Gordon Lee keeping its No. 1 ranking. Behind Gordon Lee, Mount Pisgah jumps from fifth to second and Bryan County moves up from sixth to third. Georgia Military and Athens Christian, unranked last week, enter the poll at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.
