Basketball: GACA All-Star Showcase rosters announced
The top high school basketball players in the state will get together in a four-game showcase this spring. The GACA All-Star Showcase, which will feature boys and girls all-star games for juniors and seniors, will be held March 26 at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah.
A total of 80 players were selected — 10 for each North and South team in both the boys and girls junior and senior games.
Here is a list of head coaches for each game.
Boys Junior All-Star game: North–Caesar Burgess, Chamblee; South–Darron Rogers, Westlake.
Girls Junior All-Star game: North–Chet Forsh; South–Karl DeMasi, Effingham County.
Boys Senior All-Star game: North–Jessie Bonner, Kennesaw Mountain; South–Marvin Fields, Westside-Augusta.
Girls Senior All-Star game: North–Jim Hughes, Union County; South–Deb Baber, Westside-Macon.
