Swimming: Westminster splits with Mill Creek

Mill Creek and Westminster split a swim meet on Nov. 14. The Mill Creek boys upset the Wildcats in a close meet by a score of 157-143. Westminster won the girls meet by a score of 191-121. Here are the results for Mill Creek.
First place finishes and state qualifying times were achieved by Parker Schwab (200 IM – 2:02.00, 500 Free – 4:55.15); Chris Powell (50 Free – 22.83, 100 Free – 50.82); Sommers Creed (500 Free – 5:06.43); Joey Turnblom, Nick Atkinson, Chase Wilson, Parker Schwab (200 Medley Relay – 1:47.42); Chris Powell, Nick Atkinson, Chase Wilson, Bradley Tarantino (200 Free Relay – 1:33.06); and Sommers Creed, Samantha Akoubian, Frederique Lefebvre, Rachael Dudley (400 Free Relay – 3:45.47).
Additional state cuts were achieved by Nicole Albrecht (200 Free, 500 Free), Frederique Lefebvre (200 IM, 100 Free), Chase Wilson (200 Free), Sommers Creed (200 Free), Sara Akoubian (200 IM, 100 Fly), Caitlin Munro (200 IM, 100 Fly), Samantha Akoubian (50 Free, 100 Breast), Bradley Tarantino (50 Free, 100 Free), Rachael Dudley (100 Fly, 100 Back), Morgan Elliott (100 Free), and Karla Gibson (100 Breast).
