Basketball recruiting: Duluth’s Miller signs with Stetson

Duluth’s Domonique Miller recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Stetson University (DeLand, Fla.) for coach Lynn Bria. Miller, a 6-2 forward, will join the Hatters as freshman next fall. Miller comes from a Duluth High School program that reached the Class 5A Final Four in 2008 and Regional Finals in 2009.
This program has also sent three of Domonique’s former teammates to Division I schools (Alex Phillips – Mercer, Daphne Adebayo - Virginia Commonwealth, Mykala Walker – Wake Forest). Miller was also recruited by Western Carolina, Tulane and Air Force. The daughter of Chaz and Linda Miller and the niece of former New York Jets offensive lineman Lamont Burns, Domonique Simone Miller was born May 2, 1992 in Raleigh, N.C. The two-time All-County Scholar Athlete intends to study sociology at Stetson.
