Region 5-AA

Callaway is the winner in Region 5 this season. Manchester will be the second seed with a win over Lamar County or third with a loss. Lamar County finishes second with a win, but falls to number four with a loss and a Heard County win. That leaves Heard County as the fourth seed if they lose or as the third seed if they win and Lamar County loses.

Region 6-AA

Buford, Lovett, and Westminster could remian in a three way tie if all the teams win or lose on Friday night. If only one team wins, that team will be the Region 6 champ. If only two of these teams win, their head-to-head matchup from earlier in the season will determine the region champion. If the three remain tied, Lovett will be the region winner by applying the GHSA tie-breakers, with Buford in second and Westminster in third. Avondale is locked into the number four spot.

Region 7-AA

Sub-region winners Calhoun and Armuchee will meet on the field to decide the number one and two spots in Region 7. Adairsville will host Pepperell and Chattooga will host Rockmart to decide the number three and four spots. If the two winners are not the same seed from the sub-region, the higher seed is number three in the region and the other team is number four. If the two winners are the same seed from the sub-region, the GHSA tie-breaker system is used.

Region 8-AA

Jefferson and East Jackson will collide this Friday to battle for the Region 8 title. The loser will fall to number two. North Oconee is the number three team in the region. Three teams are still in contention for the final spot: Fannin Couny, Riverside Military and Union County. Riverside has the upper hand with wins over the other two teams, so they can secure a playoff spot with a win on Friday night. If Riverside loses, Union County would be in the number four spot; they have a win over Fannin County this year.
